The 2019 Hyundai i30 ushers in a revised model line-up featuring sporty new N Line variants in place of SR versions.
2019 i30 N Line and N Line Premium models introduce a sophisticated sportiness via exterior and interior enhancements inspired by the potent i30 N performance hot hatch.
More aggressive front and rear bumpers along with 18-inch alloys and N Line badging are among the exterior upgrades.
Inside, there are N Line-exclusive front sports seats, steering wheel and gear knob, red highlights, and a contrasting black headlining.
Compared with core i30 models the N Line versions also benefit from a more powerful, 150kW 1.6 turbo engine, 18-inch alloy wheels with high-performance Michelin tyres, and a unique sports suspension tune.
“The new 2019 i30 N Line models build on the sporty appeal of the previous i30 SR to make our award-winning small car an even more compelling proposition,” Hyundai Motor Company Australia Chief Executive Officer, JW Lee said.
“With the N Line, owners can have an i30 N-derived performance package combined with the everyday practicability of our core Hyundai models,” he said.

The sporty new 2019 i30 N Line is available with a responsive, 150kW 1.6-litre T-GDi turbo petrol engine paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. N Line Premium versions team the 1.6 turbo petrol with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
2019 i30 N Line variants feature i30 N-inspired exterior cosmetic enhancements starting with an N Line exclusive front grille and bumper with a silver lower insert.
There are black bezel headlights and black exterior mirror caps, as well as N Line badging and N Line exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels in Hyper Silver with machined highlights.
An N Line rear bumper with a diffuser design and a silver lower insert completes the visual signature, along with N Line dual exhaust outlets and LED taillights.
The N Line theme extends to the black leather sports interior, with touches such as N Line sports front seats with carbon fibre effect bolster trim and embossed N logo, and a matching N sports gear lever knob and N sports steering wheel.
N Dark Metal inserts for the steering wheel and door handles, and red interior highlights for the gear knob, outer air vents, front seatbelts and rear outer seatbelts bring contrast and texture to the cabin, along with red stitching and piping on the seats, and a black headlining, pillar trims and sun visors.
2019 i30 N Line and N Line Premium feature an exclusive Australian-developed sports calibration for the strut front and multi-link rear suspensions.
The locally tuned sports suspension, in concert with high-performance, 18-inch Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, gives N Line versions especially sporty handling and confident grip
